Black Panther Soundtrack
The big black cat is finally out of the bag! Last year Arabella had the pleasure of recording some vocals for the soundtrack to the new Marvel Studios film Black Panther. She was invited to Abbey Road studios and had absolutely no idea what she was going to be working on (all you get given is the score and a code word). She sat down with her fellow sopranos and was told, “Today we’ll be working on the film music to Black Panther, you may have heard of it.” To say she was excited was an understatement! Arabella spent that day recording all the soprano parts for the choral music for the score of the film written by Ludwig Goransson. Black Panther was released in the UK on 12th February 2018 and is set to be a huge success.

Black Panther first entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016 in Captain America: Civil War. And now he has is own film! Black Panther is the first Marvel movie to have a predominantly black cast who take on lead and supporting roles. It is set to be a groundbreaking super hero movie that breaks through a somewhat white-washed industry.
